Here's more information, based on my tire.
195/60/14:
Diameter: 23.21in / 590mm
Circumference: 72.93in / 1850mm
Sidewall: 4.61in / 117mm
Tread: 7.68in / 195mm
Next, I'm going to give information on a 215/45/17 to show you the difference.
215/45/17:
Diameter: 24.56in / 624mm
Circumference: 77.16in / 1960mm
Sidewall: 3.78in / 96mm
Tread: 8.46in / 215mm
Here's the difference between the two tires.
Diameter: 1.35in / 34mm
Circumference: 4.23in / 107mm
Sidewall: -0.83in / -21mm
Tread: 0.79in / 20mm
The 215/45/17 is 5.8% larger than the 195/60/14. Speedometer will read 60 mph / 100 km/h when actual speed would be 63.48 mph / 105.8 km/h
Now, let's take a look at the difference between the 195/60/14 and the 235/45/17
195/60/14:
Diameter: 23.21in / 590mm
Circumference: 72.93in / 1850mm
