Rims

aiight i popped a tire today so that gives me an excuse to get new rims (i been wanting to do something to my car). i am split between gloss black motegis with a polished lip, and white motegis. couple of questions... first of all is motegi a good brand?? how do you attach pics?? i had a pic 137 kb and it said it was too big

Motegi is meh. Heavy and not well respected in the import world, tho cheap.

oh i couldn't figure out where to put it... i figured apperance because i ain't really getting rims for performance... so what are some good rim brands that won't cost an arm or leg?

I'm not a fan of ADR or Motegi. What size rims are you going for? Check out tires.com and see what fit your car. I dunno.

i like my ADRs, never had any problems with them. And the black finish has never came off or flaked off.. ive had them for a little over 2 yrs..

to be honest i am sure that i want 17" but i am just trying to get different rims cuz i have a big ass pair of chrome ones that weigh 28 lbs each and they are causing a lot of brake problems

and i am trying to save up money to get a turbo so price is a major issue, but so is weight...

my adr's are on point. never had a problem wit them. and their pretty light.

motegi actually has some nice looking rims out, i mean you could take out the center cap and you wont even see the manufacturer, and having no center cap is awesome!..lol...basically you can find tons of nice pakage deals on some awesome rims, just gotta keep looking....but either way, so with the black/polished lip...1 white you have to take care of constantly...even thought with the lip, i also have one, gets dirty, but only take a couple seconds to clean them :-p

if you want cheap and light then go with rota. if money isnt a factor then SsR! dont you love it when the tire is heavier then the rim! dont get 17's. get 15's. its way cleaner.
