    235/50 on a 15"

Would this size fit on a CB? Lets say a 15x7.
Just wondering as I saw the new Enkei 92's which are 15 only, but would look dope on a dumped wagon.

Reason I'm thinking of such a wide tire is I'd like to stay 15, keep great handling, and non-rice looks. Also 235 is the closes proper upsize with a 50 diameter on a 15 from the stock size, while 205, 215, 225, are a much larger difference. (Speedo would say 60 but I'd be going 57) What are your thoughts on such a wide tire?

i think they would scrub it the front while turning, being to wide.i come from a family with four tire centers with in them.i have managed one , that size usually finds its way under a mustang and so on.

A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

It would be way too wide. And hey I was planning on getting myself a set of those Enkei's also. They are sick. Stick with some 215 or 225 and it would look fine if you're going for the beefy tire look.

215.55.15 is almost as close to the correct size as the 235.50.15. Your speedometer will read 60 when you're actually going 60.2 as opposed to 60.1 with the 235.50.

235 is going to be too wide, and you might not even be able to get a shop to mount them because of the width, compared to the rim. Even if you do, wider is only better if the rim is wider as well, a rim that's too narrow for the tire can cause bad sidewall flex and poor handling.

          That's for a 55 sidewall, 50 sidewall I would be going 61.9 mph.

225/50R15 is only a 1.49% difference, how would that fit? Wasn't expecting 235 to fit anyways haha. And yes the 92's are ill!

Actually, with a 215.50.15, you'll be going 58.1 mph. What's your fascination with the 50 sidewall? The idea is to go wider while staying as close as possible to the original circumference of the stock size.

I have the original enkei92s (found them at the junkyard =D) and at the moment I'm running 195/50/15 and I had to lift the rear of the car because the wheel is just way too wide for it. Need some advice on how to make it fit without it rubbing on my fender when I have too much weight in the rear.

This is when I barely put these on.. It looked flush but it bottomed out as soon as I started to drive off

These are the most recent after I lifted about 1 1/2 at the rear or maybe a bit more

                    Nice wheel/tire setup BlitzCB7!
Ok for a 15x6.5" wheel I'm looking at these tire sizes and I am NOT dropped:

                    225/55/15
                    225/50/15
                    215/55/15
                    205/55/15

Basically what I want is the tire to come out more than the rim to add protection against accidental hits on curbs and such. But I also want it to look beefy at the same time.

Will I have rubbing or any other issues with this?

I have own si wheels, 15x6.5, with a 205 60 tire. Not dropped and I like how it look actually, if I rver drop it, ill do only 2inch all the way around, not slam it, and a 60 sidewall to me will look sick on a 2in drop.

                      Ppl r gonna say they r 2 fat, soo ill get a 205 55.

You're either gonna have to run wheels with a higher offset, or roll and pull your rear fenders.

I suppose you could try and add some camber to the rear, but I don't know if they sell adjustable camber plates for the back of the car. Fromw hat I recall there wasn't all that much adjustment in the rear to add camber.

I'd just go the roll/pull route if you're dead set on running those wheels. I suppose you could run narrower tires depending on what size you're at now.

If you plan on dropping you need to go narrower than that. My 215/50/15 rubbed because of the camber bad. At stock height they were fine tho.

I'm going 195/50/15 to accommodate. I already texted you about that though.
Oh, there was no sale on them either, they are just cheaper than usual at their regular price.
