    about Falken Ziexs?

It's time for me to get new tires soon and have been looking at the Falken Ziex 512's because there a good price and well because there a good price I guess, but does anyone have them and if so how do you like them? I can get a 4 set for about $200. I bought some crap brand tires last time I got new tires, but they were also like $50 bucks a pop so wasn't sure if the Ziex's would do better just cause of the name and all. So if anyone could give me some feedback that would help thanks.

I have them and I think they're awesome! Unlike Phat, I think they're really good in the rain. The two things I like the most are 1. they're quiet and 2. they have a ridge protector that keeps the lip of your rims unscratched. Probably not the best if you're looking for a super z rated performance tire, but in my opinion worth every penny for the everyday/occasional street racing driver.

I just bought them from tires.com for around $200 as well. I had them for a week and I like them so far. The are made in japan, and I never knew that sumitomo was the parent company. So far no complains from me! tires.com was really good as well, got to me in two days. Unfortunately I had to pay $44 for mounting and balancing wich brought them a little higher.

sounds like some yeses and some noes, well i live in norcal where it's raining as we speak so im going to need a tire at a reasonable price (around $200) that will do a good job in dry, rain, and maybe snow. I also want the tire to stick since im strengthening my suspension (for the corners, ya no). but im not sure if i sould go with the ziexs still? Maybe some other good suggestions for a good tire around $200?

what rim size are they going on? i would recommend the yoko es100s, my wife had them on her 17s and those kicked ass...

maybe you guys wont have problems with the ziexs cause you are pushing alot of power...

Can anybody give me the tread life on these things? I have been interested in a set, but I need something that is going to last since I commute so much.

They will last a pretty damn long time, ive had my 17s for like 5 years now, they are definatly hard tires.
