whose big on wheel weights or know what's the lightest wheels.
anything better than volk te37's?

I just took a bbs wheel off my car and it's a lot heavier than i thought.
mite just be the federal 595's weight..
their the same rims as on a r32 gtr vspec 2. legacy b4. and some special rx7.
except for mine are painted by bbs a cool gunmetal kinda colour.
don't know the model name bbs couldn't even tell me.

What size were your BBS's? Some people believe there are some 16's out there that are the lightest and I just don't buy that. Some track racing GramLights 15's are the way to go.

17*8 and 17*8.5

this is just a general thing to find out what the lightest wheels are.
not my cb that has stocko rims.
don't think i want to go smaller than 17. or any bigger actually. 18's pushing it for me.

235 and 255. was going to change tires soon too 265/275.
but bfg kdw2. it may be these federal tires that are real heavy.

it's just te37's are way overdone. can get a cheap set from japan second hand no worries. just ship em by sea.

Please explain to me how a 17" rim can be lighter than a 15" rim. Also, how can a wider tire be lighter? The best combo is 205/50/15 on some super light rims (8lbs each).

i couldn't have anything like that. i have traction issues as it is both front and rear.

Ohhh Okay. I understand your situation. Too much power and not enough rubber to match the road. I would go with the Volks.

Didn't Weds make some Carbon Fiber rims that weighed something like 9lbs each...

edit. 6lbs each. They appear to be 17 or 18' rims.

not 100% but anything with the word carbon in it is starting at 15grand.

looks like not many are lighter than the te37's just thought some new magnesium wheel would have overtakin it in the last 10 years.

ssr comps look like the only contender. volk ces8. and te37sl theres
a few others not many though. nothing that looks unique anyway.

That was the original question and I gave a response. You never said for set price? As far as the lightest wheel I am gonna say that is the lightest wheel I have seen.....
