Will they rub?

I'm wondering if these wheels will fit my CB7. The details are;

Diameter: 17"
Width: 7.5"
Offset: +45mm

The tires are 205/50/17.

So, will they rub? Will they even spin? My car isn't lowered, and probably won't be anytime soon.

I just want to make sure before I pick them up.. I'm confident that they'll fit but if they won't, I'll grab some spacers so they will!

i had 17x7 and lowered and had uber room...so my guess is you will clear
+42 offset btw

I hope so.. I reeeeeeeeeaaaaalllllllyyyy like these wheels and it'd flat out suck if they didn't fit correctly.

The guy I'm buying them from says they came with the purchase of a "90s Accord".. he's pretty sure it was a 94 or 95.. it was his friend who bought the car from someone else, and he didn't know much about the car because his friend sold the car before he had a chance to mount the wheels.

Going through some MR threads, it appears as if a few people are running 17x7.5 +44m, so +1mm more shouldn't be a big deal, right?

+ offset means it sits further out from the car if i am correct...so i think it will work lmk how they fit

The hub is what matters with offset.

You have the rim (the ring that the tire mounts to) and you have the hub (the spokes/face/where the lugs mount through).

When the hub is dead center in the middle of the rim, it's zero offset.

When the hub sits further into the rim (closer to the inner-lip of the wheel), that's negative offset (e.g; -45mm)

When the hub sits further out of the rim (closer to the outer-lip of the wheel), that's potive offset (e.g; +45mm)

I hope they fit man, I'm looking forward to them

The fronts bolted up fine and don't appear to rub. They look AWESOME on the car!

Sadly, I discovered a gouge in the sidewall of one of the tires.. it's a minor gouge and I'm told it won't hurt anything, but the tires are nearly gone anyways (4/32nds) so I'm going to order new ones and hopefully have them installed in the next week or two.

Hondas require offsets that are relatively high. You be fine. 45 is plenty high enough and low enough.
