Let actually rephrase that. It will rub on a 2" drop. Even though it has a finger and half gap, once the vehicle moves, it will rub.

I rocked 16x7.5" +35 with 205/50/16 all around before I had any fender work done and the rears BARELY rubbed...7" wheel and +35 offset with 205/50/16 tires all around will work just fine, provided that you don't have any camber kit
