I'm about to get a set of 18x7.5" rims and they'll need tires. I have some negative camber on my cb7 that can't be corrected - I've had two shops try and my buddy did it last time at his work.
There's enough negative camber to cause uneven wear, which means I'll probably end up replacing the tires every summer (since I put on about 15k miles per year, most in the summer, on my cb7).
I'm looking into the Nankang 225/35-18, which is a fairly inexpensive tire and I can get 4 of them locally for about $370 mounted/lifetime balanced.
I only use my cb7 as a DD, no autocross or racing.. occasionally I drive fast (100-110mph) on long trips to WI (straight away highways, got to love them!).. but nothing more than that.
Anyone here using Nankang NS-II's and have anything to say about them? I've been reading old posts and people used to really like them as a budget tire, but I didn't see anything recent.
My other alternative is BFG G-Force Sports for $650 mounted/balanced for 4 of them.. there is nothing in between those two tires as far as pricing goes.. and the smaller tires (215/40-18) is roughly the same price, saving only about $10 off of the total cost.
The specs for the Nankangs are as follows;
This is the info I got online, but the NS-II's are the tires I can get locally.

EDIT:
Is anyone using 225/40/18's on their cb7? I wonder if they'll fit..
