    Tire Choices......

well everyone, i'll be getting some new rims soon and i'll be needing new tires to go with them. the problem is, i can't decide which ones to get.

i already looked over the "what rubber are you running?" thread and there seem to be a bunch of good ones. i just can't decide which.

these rims will only be used in the summer for DD use and will probably see the occasional track day. all i want is tires that will handle and grip well, for a decent price. i just don't wanna be changing the tires every season.

the measurements for the rims are as follows:

    diameter x width: 15" x 6.5"
    offset: +30

    any help would be appreciated.

azenis would work awesome for dry and with enough tread it could see a little rain.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

yea, that's the tire size i had in mind.

i was looking into Azenis. the one thing i heard is that the tread wears out a bit too quickly on them. they are still an option for me though.

i was actually thinking of getting the Ziexs. they're pretty good from what i've heard. not the best, but definitely not too bad.

      any other suggestions?

I have the hankooks k106 ...not a bad tire in dry or wet they handle rain really well ...thread is a little high for track use though (360 thread wear) another good tire is the hankook rs2's are compatible to the azenies but with slightly longer life and slightly better wet traction... the falken 912 are more of a touring tire than performance, and the toyo t1r's tend to get choppy as they wear...

In Need of an engine, just a basic f22a...pm me if you have one willing to part with.

RS2's are good but expensive...they also squeal a little bit.
