No fluid in master cylinder and no pressure in brakes

okay so i was driving home tonight and i notice the brakes gettin very soft. While stopped at a light i realize i could put my foot all the way down. I realize after driving a lil more that the parkin brake light came on. I pulled over and the master cylinder was empty. The brakes stopped the car but only after puttin foot down completely. I then filled it back up and drove another 40 km home and realize when i got home that it was nearly empty again

What is happen, where should i start checkin and any other info would be good

okay i just was looking at my haynes and it says

Brake pedal travels to the floor w/ little resistance
    1. Little or no fluid in the master cylinder reservior caused by leaking caliper pistons
2.Loose, damaged or disconnected brake lines

This seems close to what i have goin on, would my calipers be gone at about 450 k

    450K....holy crap.

Pull it into a garage or a parking lot. Jack it up. Fill up the cup. Pump the brakes. Look/smell for leaks.
