Brake Setups-->whats the best for us 4th GENer's

i have not done my swa yet. lol.. i mean im waitin to c what i have to do or how i can do it.. I NEED BRAKES BAD! I want NSX clipers but what set up do i have to do to get this? i posted up a set up above but I dont think that will work. because ill have to up grade to 5 lug im not trying to do tat.

Has anyone bought the Tas auto conversion kit that comes with hubs/bearings, rotors, and pads? Does it use the stock accord calipers? Isn't upgrading to the prelude vtec calipers what actually makes a difference in stopping power?

I converted to Prelude 5 lug and my ABS hasn't worked right. However, I have good tires now so I don't need it. I have had a few panic stops and I have yet to lock up the wheels.

Did you change the axle to go 5 lug? I think I read somewhere that you did that. If so, isn't that the likely cause?

I know this is his car but i can try and help out here. IF im not mistaken as long as the axle has the ABS ring around it its fine! so then no he would not have to change it out.

I would do the following:

Prelude VTEC or Legend GS calipers
Brembo or Powerslot BLANKS
Hawk HP or EBC street pads
Name brand stainless steel lines
GOOD TIRES (probably the most important part)

Lookin at this ur prob in for like $1K worth of parts, but there are deals to be had. For example, I bought my tires from a take-off dude for $250 (basically half price). And the rotors + pads are like $350 on Tire Rack. So if u search u can find good prices.

im glad someone is helping lol. well my pads im going to get at auto zone they are 60 bucks each set. they are the new duralast C-MAX pads. i really want to do the nsx calipers but i think i need 99 cl rotors and hubs. im trying to find out if this is right would you know?

Are the '90-'93 Wagon Calipers the same as the '95-'97 Wagon?

I know that the rotors are the same, but I am not so sure on the calipers.

yes the calipers are the same, for some random reason the 97 accord se has them on them to.
