    creaking brakes

anything to worry about. new pads.
just washed the car and they do create a lot of dust.

only happens when coming to a dead stop.

    I dont understand "creaking"
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

    Retro!

      You probably need new rotors.
      Current:
      2007 Acura TL Type-S 6MT KBP

      Past:
      1992 Honda Accord EX-R Sedan - RIP
      1991 Honda Accord EX-R Wagon - RIP 10/14/2010

Words change lives. You just got to choose the right ones.

I think it was just the tire/engine degreaser at the carwash as it hasn't done it since.

a brake guy i was talking too told me excess dust is pads that actually wear rotors.

good but not so good for longevity.

Do you have an automatic? I've only ever noticed that creaking in automatics when you roll around with the brakes partially down.

Sounds like you've got cheap pads. I believe OP meant squealing noises.
