I'm making this post to confirm the setup (I talked about in the post I made previously) works fine with absolutely no issues. Stops great!

    What you need is:
stock 25T wagon brackets from a 91-97 Accord
    282mm 91-97 Accord wagon rotors
    NA1 3.0L NSX calipers
4th/5th gen Accord wagon/5th gen V6/NSX pads (they are all the same)

Not needed to make it work but the dust shield from a wagon would be nice too as the stock shield is smaller and needs to be slightly bent to ensure it doesn't rub the rotor. We didn't change the shield.

Everything else is stock or equivalent to stock (ie SS brake lines meant for 4th gen Accords, hubs, bearings, etc)

      That set up looks intimidating!

I think you should make a DIY...I want to do this later down the road.....

^^ the picture above is my setup... I must say I haven't ever tried just the wagon setup but I am so impressed by the combination that I have now. I really want to drive a cb with just the wagon setup to compare how much of a difference the NSX calipers really make... either way I'm sure they are at least a bit better and the bling factor can't be denied

I want to know how you overcame going from leading edge to trailing edge calipers, like the cables and everything. I am really amazed by this. My question is can't you use Legend calipers as well and do you have to use a diff wheel offset? This is nice!!!

The NSX front calipers are leading edge so no need to worry.

So this would be worth my time and money to do this, while going ROH then? I may just fork that money out later on then

So you don't need to go ROH which saves some cost... unless you want too of course, then by all means do so. I didn't.

Cost-wise it depends on the quality of the parts you use like anything else. All you are really doing is a wagon brake upgrade but using the NSX calipers instead of the wagon calipers. So really it comes down to what you pay for the calipers.

                  Hope that helps guys...

Are na2 calipers the same as na1 in terms of mounting? I'm about to pick up some 97-05 calipers. The only difference in mounting is their brqckets, right?

I believe just the internal specs changed.
Nsxprime has an FAQ that mentioned them being a direct swap or something of the sort. It's been a while.

I wonder why they made the piston smaller...

They probably increased the rear brakes, or thought the front brakes were too big (the NSX is a mid engine, so braking dynamics are MUCH different). Either way its still an upgrade from stock.

If you are considering an NSX brake swap, I'd urge you to look into Acura RL calipers as well.....it will come out costing right around the same price, and you get a 4-piston caliper vs a 2-piston.

Does the RL caliper setup to the same brackets and everything? What else is different?

I've been interested in this on my cd5. Would you pm me with some details if it is that different?

I think with the RL calipers some custom relocation bracket is needed. It looked like a block with holes in it and it was being sold for $150. I cannot remember where this was, try googling it.

These are radially-mounted calipers going onto knuckles meant for standard-mount calipers.
