    Soft brakes

    wassup guys:

one prob i'm havin with my accord: the brakes tend to get really squishy (go towards the floor with little pressure). problem is that i've done the airtightness checks and everything seems to be fine. and my brakes only get soft in hot temperatures. when i drive faster or it gets cooler, the brakes work fine again. my mechanic says everything is fine whenever he checks it. so i'm kinda lost here. i'm thinking that the piston in the master cylinder is getting stuck or something, but why in only hot temps? any help is appreciated. thanx

it's the brake master cylinder. i had those symptoms for a little over a year. it was okay during the winter/spring because of cooler weather. but i so regret not doing anything when summer rolled around. when i drove to the mechanic, i literally had NO brakes. good thing it was in rush hour traffic and i couldn't really get the car going faster than 30mph.

and i would recommend GENUINE honda brake master cylinder for your trim (dx/lx, ex).
Once upon a time I took a joyride in a Huayra...

WOW! We usually don't see them leak THAT bad... But if anyone needs Wheel cylinders, I can ship out OEM units for $20 each.
