So i go to drop my son off to his baby sitter this morning. Its pretty damn cold out here in washington. I start driving and when im in neutral or off the gas it feels like im pressing my brakes and somethings trying to slow down my car. The only thing i can think of was that my brakes were locked up from it being so cold out. But is that possible? When i arrived to the babysitters house The rear of my car smelt horrible. I dont even know how to describe the smelll. Anyone know what the problem is?

Here is a quick test. Put you car on jackstands. Then with you car in neutral with the e-brake off try turning your wheels by hand. If it is real difficult to turn one of the wheels then you at least know where to start looking.
It is possible you have a siezed caliper or something screwy with the E-brake. It's hard to tell without looking at the car.
