    Brake swap. . .

I just wanted to make sure that the Akebono brakes will bolt right up on my car with no mods. (I have Nissin right now) I already have the brackets, bolts, calipers, and pads. Also what car does the 4040 prop. valve come off of, I'm going to the jy this week for some parts.

if u have the akebono loaded caliper it will bolt up to the knuckle. vice versa on the nissin.. 1990 DA integra. remove your factory prop valve and install the 40/40 da prop valve..then bleed the whole system

Getting one would be a waste. You have abs so you need your abs prop valve.
            wat?

nissin has better brakes. as far as the abs thing. there is alot of ways to remove it just search around for non abs cb7 parts but what ever prop valve you use make sure its for a 4wdisc

Why do you say Nissin has better brakes?

Nissin, historically, has made higher end parts than Akebono

For example, Spoon calipers are made in a joint effort with Nissin

When it comes to our cars, there is hardly any difference to be honest. We aren't exactly driving race cars out here.

True we arn't. The only reason I might swap to Akebono is b/c I have a set that I can paint and put on the car.
