HELP question about rear calipers

My little brother bought a cb that has rear calipers. on the recent dumping of snow he went out drifting and hit a curb. he bent his rear control arm and the rim so im thinkin what if he did damage to his spindle. no i am replacing the whole suspenion on that side but i cant find one with rear calipers. my questions: how do i find out what the rear discs are from?
can i swap the drums of the new suspension for the discs?
should i be worried about the spindle?

What year and model cb is it? on the 90-93 models discs only came on the se models, 94 and up on the ex models.

the badge says exr and the interior is that of an se but it does have abs i dont know if abs was availble on exr's
