    Tire width...

I have 215/40/18 on my car, but I want wider tires, even though, I know that the proper set is the 215/35/18, and 215/40/17... what is the widest the cbs' will fit?
Isn't the coupes' dimentions a little different compared to the sedan

Yeah, I'm running 225/45's and they rub everywehre, lol. I think you'd be hard pressed to fit anything wider than that under the car.

Technically speaking, 225/35R18 would be the proper set on an 18" wheel. They match the stock height exactly. You're probably gonna rub, though.

are you some sort of track monster?

Why do you need such wide tires?

wide tires look awesome on any car
but yea, i dont think you can go any further than 225's in the rear, even with rolled fenders
my fenders are rolled, but if i slam my car, it will still rub.
which is why i only have a 2-3 finger gap in the rear

x2 you can also play with your offset depending on the wheel. longer or stud extensions are also an option however you will have to old school hot rodder roll the fender with a wooden bat for best results. if you google it there are wheel and tire calcs
