    replacing struts

    ok if i replaced my struts like 2-3 years ago do i have to replace them if i want to get lowering springs

    how many mileage?

    I blew my struts using lowering springs due to uber high mileaege. (180,000)

    1993 Honda Accord LX 2004-2009
    1996 Honda Civic LX 2009-2012
    2012 Kia Optima LX 2012-2013
    2010 Honda Accord EX-L V6 2013-2018
    2007 Honda Fit Sport 2017-2017
    2018 Honda Accord EX-L 2.0T 2018-20XX

        What springs are you looking into or buying? What struts are you currently riding on?

          um the Tein S Springs.....not sure what struts they were done right before i bought car

            you dont have to change the struts but if you aiming for performance there are performance struts like tokico that are stiffer than the stock replacments

                    If you really want better handling you'll get better shocks. If you just want to look low then whatever shocks are on there will probably be fine....

                              if you have something that's a gas filled OEM replacement, such as a KYB GR2, then you MIGHT be okay for a little while. But they definitely wont offer as much stability in turns and responsiveness compared to ones that are meant for lowered applications, such as, KYB AGX, Koni, Tokico illumna, etc. So find out if they're actually gas filled or not. b/c i believe the OEM struts were just oil filled gabriel's, so they won't tolerate lowering at all.
