brendan did it with the integera

it made it real stiff and shook the steering wheel more then my solid motor mounts.

ill let him chime in and tell u more tho

Word, my car already vibrates a lot with how my exhaust is, so I cant imagine it being much worse with this, and even if it is, it's worth it if a performance gain is had.

Finally got around to doing this today, and it made a lot of difference I believe. Granted, Im missing a front motor mount, but still, anything to stabilize helps.
Ill post pics of it later, and all in all it cost me about 5 bucks.

I utilized my power steering bracket and a slightly longer bolt to do this. I know its not the prettiest thing, and I need to clean it up a little bit, but it feels good. Car is a little shakier, but its worth it to me, and its not like with as loud as it is that I'd start going for creature comforts.

Yeah, its my least favorite part as well, but it was all I had laying around that I could make work. Ill probably go with something else later, but for about an hours worth of work, I think it turned out ok. I will most likely paint it black as well eventually, but until then, its just going to stay as is.

is that the same location that it was place on the integra? Also it looks kinda crooked in my opinion, but if it was only an hours work then its well worth the effort, do you have poly'd mounts to compliment the dampner?

                        nope

the teg went from the motor mount to the strut bar

he went power steering pump to anchor bolt.

would there be a greater benefit using a higher spring rate ?

                                pros:
                                stiffer

                                cons:
the vehicle may shake more at idle.
