That's what I don't like about those big companies... they don't know enough about the cars they develop products for.
Honestly, those coilovers were probably developed for a 5th gen, or even the CL. They're throwbacks for us, and not really valved properly. They'll work, but not as well as the intended cars.
The only coilover system that I KNOW was developed specifically for the CB7 is the Form and Function Autolife Type 2 system... thanks largely to stickdiljoe.
And, if you take a look at our suspension setup, you'll see that the shock angle has nothing to do with camber. With our double wishbone design, the upper control arm is what does it. The shock is fully independent of that. On many cars, like the 240sx, the pillowball mount is ideal. For us, unfortunately, it's not useful. It's a shame, because it'd be a much more preferable option to the other two camber correction options we have!

Do you want performance, or just a drop? Tein Basics are pretty much just for looks. Not much performance to them.
And because a company has been around longer doesn't mean they're better. Pacesetter has been around forever, and I wouldn't touch their crap with a stick!
The ONLY system designed for the CB chassis, and not just a CD throwback, is the F&FA Type 2. They're SoCal based, I believe. You can even go check em out in person.

well, ive read that suspension thread, and since coilovers are "better" than shocks and springs, i rather go with coilovers
even though these are the most basic, because they will cost me about the same as a shock+spring set up. this is going to be for street use only.
maybe in the future i will do autocross, time attacks, and quarter miles.
lol, ,that suspension thread really convinced me
