You dont wanna go that low on the cb7. The tires will rub the inside wall.

there's evidence that my cb7's tires have rubbed against the inner fender and im only dropped 2.25 with no camber kit.

my only assumption is that i am turning way too hard for the car's spring to handle :o

Which tires rub? Fronts or rears?

Anyways, mine's dropped more than 2.5" I think, 205/55/15, ET+34, no camber kit, -3.1 front and -1.5 rear...No rubbing at all or whatsoever, and my suspension is still pretty soft (ST springs, Tokico Illumina up front and Koni Yellows in the back, both at the stiffest settings)

When I ran 205/55/16 ET+30, on hard corners front and rear would start rubbing...But again, that could be solved with a decent coilover damper kit..

I guess it all depends on how much you want to lower your car..Don't cheap out on springs/ shocks, and if you want to go really low, go easy on the wheel offset and/or wheel/tire size and diameter, and keep the camber at negative

As for front UCA hitting inner fender wall....Just don't run a camber kit

You should use a camber kit if you're going low. I personally don't like the balljoint style ones because I've never seen one stay set properly. You can use the kit that replaces the the inner a-arm bushings/mounts (I've used th SPC kit and had no issues) and even totally dumped the a-arm will not hit.

so if i get the SPC kit, then i wont have to worry about the control arm banging the inner fender?

are there any other brands that will do this?
                      sprint?
                      eibach?
                      progress?
