    Pictures of Suspension setups

    OK, couple of things:

    1) I think the thread about suspension setups and ratings should be made a sticky. Any way that can be done?

    2) I want to try and start a new thread for actual pictures of suspension setups. Now, I know people have done pictures of their vehicles in member's rides and given a run down on their setups here in the Suspension forum, but how about a little combining of the 2? I am suggesting that people post a good 3/4 front or rear shot showing how their car sits and then list what the suspension setup is, ie: springs, struts, coilovers, camber kits, wheel/tire combo, etc. Also, how about how long you have had it one there and whether you experienced settling or not after the install.

I am not looking for reviews of the setup, but more of a resource for those looking to do a suspension setup not only based on ride and handling, but on looks and ride height.

So, I am hoping people will post a picture of their car and a quick run down on the suspension setup. Then, maybe someday, if enough people do this, we can make this thread a sticky as a quick point of reference for those looking to do a modification (like myself - I am torn between the Neuspeed Koni and Race springs or the H&R Sport springs with Neuspeed Konis).

    Just a thought.

Great idea, heres a couple pics of my car:

This was with GroundControl coilovers(not all the way down) and KYB AGX struts.

And this is my current setup, EAI/Parker air ride

Also the pics where with 17"x7" rims with 205/40/17 rubber.

akkordlayinkit - I really liked your car before you put your kit and stuff on Tell me how that GC/AGX setup rode like? I'm thinking about going to some GC's.

Here are some pics of mine. Neuspeed Race Springs and KYB AGX shocks as well as an Ingalls camber kit up front.

Yea, most people on here probably like it better before, but...

The GC-AGX combo was absolutly amazing, or at least compared to stock and air...I never had them cracked all the way down, so I cant say how they ride at the lowest, but at the settings I had- I loved it, it handled great, looked great, and didnt bottom out and was a smoother ride than the 10+ yr old stock suspension.

Your car would look really good with a little more drop, it would really clean sittin right.

            I second the STiCKy.

18" Motegi MR7's (45mm offset, *BEWARE* of rear inner fender rub) with 225/40/18 Ventus Hankook's
GC coilovers dropped a little under 2 1/4" with some crap $100 a piece struts

GC is the best ride i've found for coilovers *except for TEIN*

in desperate need of front camber kit. it doesnt look bad, but im going through some tires

I would strongly suggest against putting those skunk2's on KYB's. I did the same, and it blew the rear two shocks in a matter of months. Not only that, it completely pushed the shock tower rod through the backseat. btw, what wheels are those? They look hot as hell!

Those rims look like Spoom's- the 17" Exels from wheelmax.com. I have the same exact car pretty much...I wonder how it would look on 15" gunmetal ones w/the moldings painted. Hmm.

I remember your comment about those KYB's. I'm wanting Koni but the local guys trying to sell me on KYB's. I think I'll take your advice and get Koni even if I have to order online.

If you click on the link for a closeup, the wheels say spoon, no wait.. it says SPOOM, talk about marketing strategy. They are pretty much identical in appearance, I'm not sure on the weight.

I don't know how gunmetal would go with rose. but post it up if you get them.
