    koni yellow or tokico illumina?

Would you choose koni yellow or tokico illuminas and why?
What would be best for a daily driver who already has Eibach sportlines? I am needing just a good shock that will last and will not blow quickly.

I also hear that the koni yellows do not come with the bracket for the brake lines, is this true, and do the illuminas have the same problem?

I will probably get new springs as well. Would you prefer H&R sports or Nuespeed sports. Thanks guys.

    KYB AGX. That's my answer.

They don't blow quickly. The thing is that people pull them out to see if they are blown, and depress the cylinder. However, the AGX is designed where the cylinder does not push itself back out. This is a reult of full dampening both on the down and on the up. Since the cylinder does not push itself out very quickly, people determine it's blown, since that's how you determine it on an OEM strut. However, it's just that the AGX is different.

Kind of a hard concept for some people. A differently engineered strut acts differently.

I have a set of Koni "Race" yellows. The race yellows do not come with the bracket for the brake line, this is true. However the regular Koni yellow does. There are several members on this site that use yellows and are extremely happy with them. If you don't want to spend the money on Koni yellows the Illumina is a little cheaper and will give you great results.

You are speaking about the rebound of the shock. That is adjustable on Koni yellows, they are fully adjustable shocks. I don't know about the AGX's but I would assume being KYB's high end shock that they also will have an adjustable rebound. Why they would be so tight from the factory is a different story.
