    Building a strut bar

    where can you buy parts to construct your own strut bar?

    try a local metal shop or a hardware store. also see if there are some shops that make industrial stuff like huge trash containers and etc. i was able to score a lot of free scrap stuf from there that was usable.

      i really don kno how to weld but could i do it with nuts n bolts connecting it?

        im gonna go out on a limb, and say its not worth the effort, just buy a cheap no-namer off ebay.

              he wants to make a trunk brace including the rear upper strut....its like a one peice all together but welded in.....yo B, i got some people in my class that are better then i am in welding, if ya want i could ask them how much they'll do it for..?

                        maybe its just me but i dont think connecting different parts of metal in order to construct the bar is a good idea other than attaching the bar to the car itself. under stress the bolts could possibly come loose and the bar would be useless. find someone to weld it for you.

                          <-needs to learn how to weld as well.

                          i do plan on making a 4+ point roll cage for our project car and extending trunk brace using the rear strut towers and rear bumper supports.
                          I <3 G60.
