    do the neuspeed springs....?

do the neuspeed springs settle more than the drop advertised on them?
i have been looking into the neuspeed sport and i don't have a great deal of info on them.
i plan on running 16" rims with 215/50r16 and i usually have a passager or two and i don't want it to rub.
and i read on the post of h23 accord that the race spring pretty much sit the same way as the sport spring sit.... has any one ran into this problem????
i searched around and i couldn't find the specific info that i need...
are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet

With the right offset wheel you can tuck tire. Strut choice also plays a huge roll in it as well.

I have a 215/45-17 with a +40 offset and AGX, and I rub the drivers side on fast corners, but I also need to replace the control arms. Scott has the same size tires with Illumina, which gives the full sport drop and he doesn't rub.

Steve (ATX) had 17's with a +40 offset on race springs and didn't rub as far as I know.

i run neu. race springs w/ agx shocks. rumor has it that the shocks make it ride higher than it should but i don't know. I have not had any problems with rubbing w/ people in the car. Neu. race springs are pretty stiff. i also run on 17"x7.5" rims. they rubbed with a car load of people when it was stock suspension before I lowered it.

after having them for a few years they dont settle more than the drop, however as stated the strut choice will make a difference.

I don't remember saying that both springs sit the same. I do remember stating that I adjusted the shock height adjustment so that the my car is roughly at the same height no matter what spring I use. I have seen sport springs on stock shocks lower a cb7 more than one on race springs as well as vice versa. Your shocks and offset of your wheels will play a part in your drop as well as possible rubbing issues. I run a 15 inch 65 series tire currently and don't have any rubbing problems with 4 people in the car. To answer your question though based on my experience, the springs did not settle lower than the advertised drop.

Mine did but not by that much enough to actually notice. Little things play a factor in all this like what bumpstops did you use, when you cut them in half how much wear is left on them. How many people are in the car etc. but it wont be enough to notice and i was on the sports supercup kit. everyone constantly mixed and matched struts with the springs I said fuck that im goin with the supercup kit,it has yet to give me any issues.

well this is going to be my first suspension upgrade so i plan to go all out. i am looking at the supercup and i like what i see except the price lol. but my choices are going to be with the supercup kit or with illumina shocks. as for the rims that i might get they are going to be 40+ off set.
these are the wheels that i plan to get.

                  http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=69652

now i am double thinking ...
should i go with the supercup kit or should i go with sport sprigs and illuminas.

i hear you bro i hear you but then again i need to put 215/45+ tire size and with 16" rims or 17" rims that might be a problem.

You will end up with the Cup kit over the illuminas for 1 reason...height adjustment in case your "rubbing" paranoia becomes an issue. something else to consider is if everything is installed (susp., wheels, whatever else) and you feel the rubbing isn't going to be an issue you might want to push the envelope and see how much more you can lower it. For a little more money you get a few more options and a little more piece of mind with the Cup kit.
