    Koni reds vs KYB GR-2s

A buddy of mine is lowering his cougar only about an inch. Koni reds and KYB GR-2's are about the same price, so I just want to know which shocks are better and will handle the drop better.

P.S. The adjustability of the shocks is not an issue, just quality

            x2

when i bough them i knew nothing about this site or any accord site. Dropping it was really the first thing i did to my car and i didnt have that much advice about the products that i bought. Knowing what i know now, i could save a little more and buy a better set depending on the drop.

My cousins civic is dropped on tein springs and tokiko shocks, not sure what model but its pretty good, not bouncy at all, I mean gr-2s for being pretty cheap beat those 10 dollar coilover setups anyday that will have your car bunny hopping from lane to lane.

true that, I run em on a 2" drop and the ride and everything is alright. Just like everyone else, I was poor. GR-2's arent bad by any means, but if you can get a better product for the same money like the koni's then go for it. Personally tien basic coilovers go for 700 somethin and thats only a little bit more than a good spring/shock combo.
