cant be sure unless I had springrates to compare which is easy cause its on this site somewhere, but I believe the Teins are a softer company

Tein S-Techs will give you a decent drop, but they are mainly just for looks thus their less aggressive spring rates.

If you are looking for better performance, go with the Neuspeed Sports.

          Spring rates are:

          F: 260 lb/in
          R: 165 lb/in

Tein's S-Techs are good in both looks and handling. I have em. Nice decent drop.

Tein S-Techs are mainly looks...they give you a nice drop with a comfy ride. almost like OEM...haven't used Neuspeeds but the word is they are better performance wise...

The Neuspeed Sports drop about the same as Tein S Techs...

As for handling, I have never ridden on Tein S-Techs, but the Neuspeeds handle superbly.

It is even possible to get a little rotation on them in corners.

Also, when paired with stock shocks or Tockico Blues, they actually ride BETTER than stock.

This is because of their highly progressive nature, which basically means that they get stiffer as the spring is compressed more, so on small bumps they are soft, but in handling or large bumps they get firm.

You will see this when you place them next to other springs. The coils at the top are wound more closely than most other springs.

I would absolutely recommend the sports.

This has been very helpful because I have been debating the same thing. My question is are the neuspeed sport and the h&r sports the same thing?

You mentioned Tokico Blues, what do you think of Koni Yellows or Reds? Would it still ride BETTER than stock? I've been looking at the Super Cup kit from Neuspeed, but I don't want to drop the car as much as the Neuspeed Racing springs included in the cup kit do....I'd like to go with Koni Yellows and Neuspeed Sports.....what do you think?
