Last night I got back from a late night mountian session with a couple of me friends. Both had g units in the cars. I was just wondering how many G's have been pulled in a cb7.

So what you are saying is that you pulled more G's in an Accord, than what an INDY car can do on a race track, with HUGE slick tires, 700+HP, Aerodynamic downforce AND a loaded weight less than 2,000lbs?
Or a Formula 1 car can do?
If I put you in an airplane and pulled 5.5G's, you would shit yourself.

ahh you must clarify mr. thread poster so that Owequitt doesnt shit himself.
I think a modded Accord could hit over 1g, I remember reading a book in Amazon where they had various project cars and one of them was a 92 cb7, informative book, maybe ill go back and snap some pics of that page.
A stock Honda Accord EX '90 hits 0.79G on the skidpad. Now add a good set of performance tires alone and that seems to make the car stick much better. Add lowering springs/struts, sways, and strut bars, I dont see 1g being out of the question.
Edit: yeah i take that 1g comment back, as it seems its progressively harder to make it close to .90G.Last edited by starchland; 11-02-2006, 01:01 AM.

Speaking of Formula 1--Strongest g-forces survived by humans.
Involuntarily: Formula One race car driver David Purley survived an estimated 179.8 g in 1977 when he decelerated from 172 km·h−1 (107 mph) to 0 in a distance of 66 cm (26 inches) after his throttle got stuck wide open and he hit a wall.-- Courtesy of Wikipedia
