    Springs?

I have a 91 Lx coupe and I am going to buy the nuespeed cup kit which comes with Koni externally adjustable shocks and nuespeed springs. The question is I would not mind lower the car but I do want a comfortable ride. I know the race springs are stiff and are not what I want but the sports spring one set has a drop of 1.75 (F) & 1.5 (R) and the other sports have a drop of 0.75 (F) & 0.75 (R). Which will best suite daily driving and comfort on long road trips? As for wheels I currently have stock ex alloys (for winter) and will eventually switch up to 17" enkei's (for spring and summer). Only other suspension mod is Nuespeed strut tower bar.

I read the faq and suspension sticky but it did not answer my questions. ANy info is appreciated.

    Thanks

im on race springs and kyb agx's and the ride is good on that, so i can only imagine its even better on the yellows.

You don't go oh sh#t when you see gravel in the road, and your not bouncing around when your going over uneven pavement.

A friend of mine had a mustang hatchback and it was lowered with eibach spring and I don't remeber the springs but you felt everything.

If that is your definition of uncomfortable then you will be far from disappointed with the setup you are interested in. Also you should look for my Neuspeed reviews I have written which should be in the suspension section of the forum. They should enlighten you more on the differences in the springs.

Judging by what I read you used the Koni's to lower the car more right? Which sports did you get?

i have koni yellows with nuespeed race springs and i must say it is truely an amazing ride. i also have 17's with 205/40/17 tires and severely hurting ball joints and it still rides fantastic.
