I am confused by what metal part you are talking about that moves up and down on your shock. Could you get me a pic of this please. And when springs settle, they themselves are not settling but more like the are getting used to your car. Your spring isolators might not be as worn as the person you got those from. Heck the previous person might not have used any. I would ride on them for a little bit and see what happens. At the same token though, I have known of some others who are were running reds and had a similar problem but not to the same degree. If you had pushed for the Koni yellows it would have definately assisted in fixing your problem as far as height adjustment.

Might I recommend the Neu. Konis if you want the 5 levels of height adjustment. Otherwise you can go with the regular yellows for the 3 levels of adjustment. I am too anal on suspension so I had to splurge for the Neu. Konis. Hopefully the reds work themselves out though because I am sure they are great shocks as well.

how much is the neuspeed koni suspension? I already have the neuspeed race springs and was planning on getting regular koni yellows after I finish my hid project. But if the kit isn't that much more I might just get new springs too.

I have no idea. I got the Neu. Konis from Holland back years ago before they were really out on the market so I have no idea what they are today. I got them because my distributor at the time was out of the regular Koni yellows and said that he would hook me up with this new yellow that was coming out for Neuspeed for a little more. I personally felt they were worth it for the 2 extra height adjustments that I know I have used at some point in my search for the right suspension setup for me. All of my suspension review writeups that I have written for the board have all been on those shocks.

                  question

did you take absolutely everything off that you don't need from the stock setup. Like some of the hard plastic/rubber pieces on top of the strut? That is a simple slip up alot of people make. Thats what happened to my buddy and he had the same prob as you do. Just doubt check everything. Hell by the time we were done with his we had broken 2 alan wrenches.

so i was right? it's all good though I made that mistake on my friends integra. We even swapped his front and rears once, and that made his oil pan sit on the floor and the backend have like a 9 inch gap.

Now I just have the same problem as JamesB14. My front is a little bit higher than the rear. Is this normal? Even before I change the stock spring with lowering spring the front is a little bit higher. I thought that if I change the spring it will solve the problem, but it is not. Is there any way to lower the front? Or do I need to change the front only with sprint extreme spring. But then I will also need to change the shocks and buy a chamber kit. That is a lot of money Anyone have suggestions.

How about if your rear driver side has a 3 finger gap, and your rear passenger side has a 2 finger gap? I double checked everything, and they are both installed correctly. I'll probably switch them and see what happens. I'm on koni yellow and neuspeed race btw.

My car has that same issue as well, ever since I dropped the car. It might be a worn lower shock bushing, or the car leaning when you park on a curb. There's no way to fix it.
