B&G Springs and Koni RSK setup

Does anyone have or know anything about the B&G springs which drop 1.6" all around? They are available on shox.com

Also, Does anyone know anything about the Koni RSK kit and how much it drops in inches?

The reason I ask is because I am looking for a drop of 1.5-1.6 cause I have the Eibach Sportlines wiht stock shocks, which are 1.8 and I dont want that setup anymore cause its a little too low for my lip. I will probably get something in the 1.5" - 1.6" with koni yellows if I find any springs in that range.

Do you know about these springs or have any pictures with them on. Thanks for your help.

never heard of b&g springs not sure if they're good or not.

you have a drop of 1.8 now and want to switch to a 1.6 drop?! not sure if you'd truly see a difference, as it's only 1/5 of an inch. i would imagine that the lip would still scrape. i suppose any rise in the ride height will help, but i'm not sure you'll see a big difference.

don't know about koni rsk either.

absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

I've been doin some research and it looks like the koni rsk kit can be adjusted from about 1.4-1.7 in drop. Supposed to be a really good set up because the struts and springs are matched, and koni makes a good product. It comes with koni red struts, which are like 130 a piece if you buy them seperately, but the whole kit is only like 526 so it's not too bad really. After I get my next pay check I'm ordering me the kit so I can get rid of my blown stock struts and cheap ebay coil overs.

b&g is a good brand. i was going to get those for my car. they are made in europe, can't remember which country. i've heard good things about b&g, comparable to eibach.

i have Koni RSK and i absolutely love it.
the Koni Reds feel amazing, and they're fully adjustable too (but they have to be taken off the car to be adjusted). and you can't beat the price.

i like the fact that they are "matched" to the springs.

there are 3 perches for the front and back.
i have my fronts set on the lowest perch, and the backs set in the middle for a slightly raked look.

            here's my height stock:

            with Koni RSK:

the perches are about 1/4 inch apart.
i would estimate the drop to be about 1.7-1.8 on the lowest perch, and 1.3-1.4 on the highest perch.

thanks for the pic. I was wondering about where I'd be sitting with my 17's and I don't think it'll be all that much higher than where I'm at now, which would be good.

im pretty sure they're not koni springs, because koni doesnt make springs. i think they're eibach springs.
a couple people have told me the koni and eibach merged or something like that, so they figure the springs are made by eibach. anywho, they're quality springs.

i dont know about regular koni reds, but the ones that come with the RSK kit have 3 perches on each shock.

my back shocks are set to the stiffest, and my fronts are set to about 3/4 stiff.
this seems to work well for me. it allows the front end to absorb the bumps a little easier, and keeps my back end tight.

I like your idea. I've noticed our 4th gens (or my 90 EX at least) will have the back end kick out a bit when going around a curve and hitting any size bumps. I have new ball joints up front, tie-rods are fine, FR & RR sway bar new rubber bushings, new stock coil springs all around, struts have no external leaks & maybe internally worn at most and it STILL does this...just in the design I guess. Your setup makes sense to resist what the car naturally wants to do on stock setup. Props.

For my project build, it will eventually inherit koni yellow adjustables and H&R sport springs, camber kit if need be, 17x7" rims and 215/45 wet/dry performance tires.

Yeah I noticed our cars do that too...the whole rotate over a bump thing, kinda scary...

But wouldn't having the back stiffer than the front worsen the problem? If anything you want it to all be kind of even and pretty soft...if the back is stiff when you hit a bump it will go nuts and lose grip, leading into a spin...if anything the back and front should be even so when the front goes, if it slips the back will slip the same, and the car will 'catch', rather than having any rotation...but then again I'm riding bone stock so whatever you say works works...just my .02.
