I guess glory saw a major difference since his mounts were in bad shape from the start, and when he filled them it made a world of difference from what he originally started with. But if your mounts are already good to go then I don't see any way of the handling improving.

Yep...I realized similar results in my car too. I was quite surprised at the difference in just merely installing a rear insert after all ready having the front insert and tranny mount filled. The rear insert/fill alone is a big difference. My car feels heavier in the front now which seemed strange but it does handle better. Turn in is not as sloppy either.

^^^Yup...it definitely ties the whole front end together. It's just easier to drive now.

Question: My rear mount looked like a bell with a handle, but H22sparkle said his is different. How can you tell which mount you'll have?

DX/LX 5spd cb7s have the solid rear rubber mount and different bracket.
all EX models (5sd/auto) have an oil-filled mount(different bracket as well) and looks just like how you described it.

I just posted pics of the mount with inserts I installed, in swaps section. I swear I also noticed a more stable stance when cornering.
