Help!! hearing a strange noise

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread...
I'm hearing a weird noise from the back drivers side wheel area. I hear it when I drive and brake, but more noticable when I turn. It's kinda like a psst psst noise. Just wondering if any of you guys might have had the same problem or know what it could be. It's so bad I dont even wanna drive it, thinking something might break, lol.

slow tires leak?probably not but could be.sounds like something in the suspension,blown shock??

How would I go about checking to see if it was a problem with the strut, is it something I could do or does it have to looked at by a garage/dealer ??

Probably a blown shock or a small pinhole in his exhaust or hes probably hearin the fuel injector system from the pump cuase sometimes it makes a whirring sound to

So is this something I can drive on? I only have to travel maybe 1.5 miles to school and back. And if it is the fuel injector pump...how do I get rid of it?

Well I tried driving it again today just around the development, and the noise is still there. Sounding like something metal rubbing when I turn and excelerate...dont hear it when I go over speed bumps though.

its either your strut or maybe your catylic converter cause they go to pieces sometimes with that little shield

Thanks everyone for their imput so far...i'm going to get it looked at hopefully this weekend. I'll keep you posted on what the problem was

Here it was just the rear brake pads needed to be replaced. God I feel so dumb !!
