    Adjusting Coilovers

I got my D2's installed but I'm a touch too low in the front and a touch too high in the back. I need to adjust them, I've got the wrenches but no idea how to do it. Im thinking I should unbolt the top mount and let it drop down, and while still bolted to the hub try to adjust it and get it to spin. Am I right? I've never even seen coilovers before I got them in the mail...and since I bought them used I didnt get instructions. Help a brotha out here.

seems as tho no one is helping yah out, so i'll see what i can do to help yah out, with coils adjusting ride height with given tools should be straight forward, turn the top nut if your going to rise the car, turn the lower one of your going to lower it, i think, if i'm wrong correct me since i've never owned coils yet, but i'm not sure if u have to take tension off the spring to do this,i think you might so just jack up the car under lift points and do it that way??? anyone else.....

    spring
    ____________ top nut
    -------------- lower nut

lossen the lower nut and allow it to come down the threds 1"- which ever height u want, then follow that with your top nut..make sure they are tight.....

There is one nut you use to adjust the other just locks it in place. Tape measure is your best friend in this situation. Me and my friends adjusted his TEins on the bench so when we put it in it would be equal. On my friend TL when we did it before we didnt do that so we used a tape measure measuring center of wheel to top of fender and just tried equalling all of them out which worked decently well.

ok thios is wicked easy to do...jack up car, take the wrenches included and loosen the lower perch first then adjust to desired height. make sure both sides are equal...i go by # of threads. make sure both perchs are closed together so they are "locked". take out jacks and repeat if necessary. for a beginner, it should take u about 20-30 min for the rear and 20-30 min for the front. for those more advanced/have loads of experience, it can be done in less than 5min for the rear and 5-7 min for the front from jacking up to putting back down.

he's using d2's guys. You don't adjust them that way

To thread starter: do a search on how to adjust d2's or omnipowers. You adjust them the same way.
