i was just wondering how do people make the washers work? Do the get washers and a level out. If so how many would a car with a 3" drop need?

trial and error. and you'll still need an alignment for your toe.

As for me, i got my janks aligned at a shop. And they used shims to correct my camber (which is virtually the same as using washers).

Just put some on, use a level till it's straight. then go get an alignment and ask them for the before and after specs.
