yea NYC streets are cruel to lowered vehicles. NH roads are just as bad in most areas. i actually just put my car back down to, as of yesterdays measurements, a 4.15in drop. and even with the pot holes and frost heaves i haven't scraped once yet. haha

i dunno why the control arms are banging at that drop height....i haven't had any issues. the only thing i had trouble with was fender rubbing so i rolled them and fixed that.

I have a new setup now and would actually like to ride in sthrnb711's car to compare. I think i might like the new setup more since it has a more aggressive feel but I will always recommend the neuspeed/koni setup for anyone who is interested in avoiding all the mixing and matching suspension headaches and just buying a fantastic matched spring/shock combo.

I cant agree more with the Neuspeed Koni setup. I love it. Just soft enough for daily driving and stiff enough to handle corners without fear. Now all i have to do is fix my banging control arm and i'll love it even more.

What is the easiest way to get rid of the control arm banging problem. I know either grind the arm or hammer out the fender. I looked at my problem today and there isnt much of the arm I can grind down, but the inner fender is really close to the top the arm just sitting on the ground. How much can you beat the fender before you run into problems, in the engine bay or outer fender?

Are we talking Neuspeed "Race" or "Sport" here? I'm slamming my head against a wall right now with all the suspension options.
