    Neuspeed/Koni's On

I ordered my Neuspeed/Koni's 2 weeks ago and got them pretty quickly. They were on the car friday and there is a huge difference. With the KYB's I had about a 2 maybe 2.5 finger gap and now with the koni's i have about 1 finger gap(lowerst perch in front, 4th perch from the top on the rear).

The only problem Im having now is a huge banging noise when I hit something like a dip or bump in the road. I believe its the control arms hitting in the wheel wells though so hopefully it will bang itself a groove or I can get in there with a hammer and help it out. Any suggerstions?

Also, with the settings on the shocks, I have the front all the way stiff and the rears all the soft. I have tried expirementing with the front and can barely tell a difference, stiffer seem to bounce more going down the road. The rear are hard as hell to get to and dont seem to be able to get the adjuster cap thing on the top so can I just use pliers to turn the adjuster knob?

Over all im glad i got these and will have comparison pics up in a week or so, after spring break. Also the KYB AGX's will be on set in a week or so as well if anyone is looking for some shocks.

check the front and rear strut right in between the dust boost and shock there should be a rubber gromet in betweek them to absorb the shock just cushioning it. If there isnt you may have to go to the dealer

Probably the control arm banging. I had the same problem. trim some of the control arm where it is hitting and you won't have that problem.
As far as not seeing a difference, put the fronts on full soft and the rears on roughly 3/4 turn back from full firm and ride like that for 1 full month. Then change the front from full soft to 1 full turn firm...you should notice a difference.

Oh yea...and good job on FINALLY GETTING THEM LIKE I TOLD YOU TO!!!

Konis= teh best...I think the springs and shocks are matched perfectly for the best response. I might have to invest in a set...

Yeh I'm debating what to go with this summer as well. Methinks Omnis w/Glory-spec springs (400F/275R)...I could never deal with the astronomical rates they come with in NYC, and I already have the 275s in front on my car now...

I'm glad I went for the Koni's. The banging problem is getting less and less, and mainly when I hit a big bump now. Going to try and shave the upper arm or bang out a little of the inside of the fender. I can really tell a difference now after driving on the highway for about 600miles. Im glad i made this choice, and now my only problem is not scrapping the crap out of the car.

Ah yea...you are sitting just one perch lower than me in the rear but I am sitting at 2 finger gap all around while you sit at 1 all around. Just goes to show that not all springs are created equal.

Yeah I love the look. Just need time to jack the car up, take the wheels off and get rid of my banging sound. The ride is much better and handles like a dream.
