    need help on rear control arm install!!!

    well i have finally decided to install my rear lower control(trailing arm) myself,i am doing it this weekend.any suggestions or tips?there is a brake line running through the trailing arm so i am not shure what to do there?is it easy to unhook the rear passenger side brake line?i have to so i can install my new arm.the line runs through this hole in the arm,so i need to undoo the brake line to take off the arm,last time i attempted this i got everything apart and then put it all back together because i was unshure about that brake line,i did not want 2 fuck with it.so does it insrew?will i have to blead the brakes?please help before i attempt this.thanks.

    sorry not part of the subject but where did you get lower control arms for our cb7's?

      i got it from a honda dealer ship,it was $150.00,its also called a "trailing arm".or a rea lower control arm.anyone know any of my questions?thanks

          If you need to remove the brakeline... just do it. Remove it from the brake assy. of that wheel. Cap it off or something so it doesnt get anything in it, and so it doesnt leak. When you go to put it back on, just use a zip tie to hold it up near that area instead of going through the arm...because it shouldnt go through there in the first place.

              i cleaned off the brakeline and i still cant see wear it unscrews,its the rear passenger side brakeline.is it screwed on?also if i unscrew it do i need to blead the brakes when i hook the line back up?thanks

                well i took off the rear control arm and i still cant fucking get the brake line disconnected,it runs through the arm so when i do get it off i will re route the line,anyone know how to disconnect the rear passenger side brake line.i know its notr hard but i cant do it and my chiltons suck ass.

                    you can't just unscrew it from the back of the drum, like right by where the bleeder valve is?

                      its caked in gresse/dust so i will clean it off and give it a try.will i have to bleed the brakes after?

                        any time you open up any brake line you have to bleed them after.
