Do i really need a camber kit with eibach sportlines?

    lies, lies, lies...i have sportlines, and i dont have a camber kit...the guy at the tire store could get mine where it needed to be without a camber kit

    keep in mind that the tires will last longer if they are properly rotated, that can suck the life out of tires faster than any camber wear...

      Funny thing is I have sportlines to, and when I first had them installed without a camber kit the inside of the tires would wear like no other. Think about it its common sense wouldnt you rather pay some money get the camber kit and never have to worry about it again? And rotating the tires will not prevent tire wear due to bad camber angle because either way you rotate the tires the wear will always be in the inside tire! So please dont say lies lies lies when Im telling the truth, yes I said that it is needed, thats my opinion, but I also stated in my first post that if he didnt didnt get it he would be getting bad tire wear.

        there are people with sportlines, or spring/strut combos that give a lower drop than sportlines, or coilovers that give a lower drop than sportlines... and they don't have camber kits, and they don't have problems with premature tire wear.

        the only way to try and prove that the uneven tire wear is from camber is to get an aligment before installing anything new, and checking the specs on both camber and toe. if the toe is perfect, than it can be attributed to camber. otherwise, it's toe and/or camber and toe.

        i've never run a camber kit with any of the suspension set ups i've had, or currently have. i've never had a problem with premature tire wear.

        a camber kit is not a necessity. some people choose to run them, but it's not a necessity.

          I know what you mean uncle el, and I do agree that it is a choice to run a camber kit, however just in this thread alone there are many people who like me do have a camber problem. And as soon as I installed my ingalls kit I have had near perfect tire wear.

            thanks guys i think ill just go with the camber kit to be safe or just get a drop less than 2 inches really appreciate all the input!
