Sounds like a crack addict that only wants to get "a little" high.

i got shunk2 on OEM struts, no problems, but if you just lost your job, you might not get another for awhile. later.

work on getting another job and take care of your priorities first.

Don't get coilovers period, especially cheap ebay ones.

Personal life aside, I'd say some Eibach or H&R Springs. However, stock struts really aren't a good idea. Some KYB's should do the trick...

i paid $50 for my cheap ebay coilovers and they work like a champ, just had to replace the front struts b/c that started to leak oil. im do the back to

$50 coilovers, put on by me
$150 Kyb gr-2 stuts put on by me
                  total $200 not bad

u can go with coilovers on stock struts.......how long they will last depends on many factors such as ride height, driving habits, condition of struts b4 coilovers, installed properly, and other crap. i ran skunk2's all the way down (stiff as all hell) on stock struts for over 40k miles and they didn't blow but when i raised the car up to about a 2" drop the struts blew within 10k miles so IMO it mainly depends on ride height. the greater the suspension travel the greater the momentum so the greater the chance of bottoming out struts and putting excess pressure on them. choice is up to u but i would recommend it......ride is bumpy though, but who expects to have it ride like a luxury car anyays lol.
