I know that if you're car didn't already come with a rear sway bar then there are no holes on the trailing arms to hook up the brackets for the aftermarket one. A rear disc swap eliminated this problem. Although you have to drill four holes in the crossmember for the progress sway bar(not sure about ST), it works that much better and best of all, it clears my 2.5" exhaust.

      ...adjust accordingly

just un hook your axel back hanger. it lets the exhaust hang like .5" lower and doesnt move around at all.

I don't know how it works much better to clear the 2.5" exhaust. I simply stated that drilling holes in the crossmember and attaching it there helps out that much better.

or two muffler hangars or polyurethane hangars.

seems that my next mod on my dx would be a ST rear sway bar.(since i don't need to drill holes)
what is a good site to buy one from?

Hey, I would like to get an S/T rear sway bar BUT I don't understand one thing. How will I know where to drill on my LX? Would I have to find an EX, get under it and measure where the holes are supposed to be? Is that the only solution?

I have the s/t rear sway on my 90 lx and it requires no drilling. It is quite easy to install, and takes little know-how.

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

Is the progress bar worth the extra cost over a junkyard vigor bar.

Also to keep in mind is that with lowered cars where the spring rate is increased, the sway bars actually dont' need to be as strong to level the car. So what works on a stock car (like the vigor) would work even more effectively on a lowered car.

All that said, more stiffness in the rear is probably best, as we dont here a whole ton of people complaining of excessive oversteer with the stiff rear bars.

Use the progrses is $80US shipped, whereas the yunkyard is about 20-30US (my wreckers are scum.
