IMO...that much bracing is useless on our cars...not many people are going to drive their cb hard enough that it would justify losing all of the trunk space just to have a stiffer chassis on a car that wasnt designed to be super stiff...

a custom roll cage would be more effective IMO. you can still make this system pictured work with some minor tweeks. but remember hatches are a bit weaker due to the lack of a lateral support between the strut towers. that's why they have these. our cars already have a rear speaker deck which acts like a brace already. that's why i don't really believe that rear upper/lower struts bars actually work on our cars. they may help a bit but not as much as in a hatch. they do look "cool" though eh?

yea i here you timmy on the rear lower, but on the rear upper i do have to disagree with you . i did feel a difference when i put on my rear upper. it just seems to me that theres not alot of aftermarket support for suspension for the cb

i suppose this is the closest you can get and of course takes the functionality of the trunk for carrying anything, including the spare, almost to nil.

the reason im bumping this up is because im kinda intrested in putting something to hold some 3 point racing harneses to accompany possible racing seats but i dont want to loose the rear bench considering that my exhaust is way too fucking loud w/o it.

i measured the plastic panel to panel and it is around 45"

the rsx c-pillar bar says that it can adjust from 42-44" so it isa bit short

i was wondering if you can use the end mounts for the c-pillar bar and just find a longer bar with the same thread?
or is that basically what the OP just said?
