Front end of my cb7 making noise!

Hey guys the front of my cb7 is making a noise that sound like two metal pieces rubbing together real hard espeacially when I go into my driveway. I'm thinking that i might have to replace my bushings on the front. Any good bushing sets that are really good value and quality? Give me a hand here guys! Thanks

it kinda sounds like a ball bearing thats lose or just really needs to be regreased....if the sound has been there for a while then u may need to replace them. but i suggest that u take it to ur mechanic shop and just have to take a look at it.... it should be free.... good luck

question for you..............drive the car straight then move the wheel left and right..........ok if it makes a humming noise on the right side and you are turning the wheel right its the wheel bearing? vice versa on left side.

bruce20636, jack up the front end and take a peek at your anti-sway bar bushings --- there are end-links (on the ends, duh) and middle bushings.

Bet one or more of the bushings are shot --- making noise when going slow into or out of a driveway or other low-speed bump is a classic symptom.

I figured it out guys it was my tie-rod ends gone bad. when my mechanic took a look at it and touched it it fell completely apart in his hand. that would have sucked if i had kept driving it and it had came apart.
