all depends on what u want outta it....springs if u don;t mind being stuck at the height forever lol and if u want a better ride quality. coilovers if u don;t mind a little bounce every now and then and if u want to adjust it to suit your needs. slammed for shows, little higher for street, and all the way up for winter! i personally have coilovers and love them bc i can adjust them whenever i choose to and it is real easy to adjust. ebay sucks with coilovers bc the threads rust and get jammed so u have trouble adjusting height.
again all up to basically how smooth you want your ride...u can get a smooth ride outta coilovers if u get a hefty expensive as hell custom valved "truely" shortened strut. 250-300 for each strut.

well i can't get an alignment to a certain degree bc i almost rub as it is....even with rolled fenders lol....so alignment is out of the question. well i guess i could try and just tell them to get it to as close as possible to specs without my cutting off my tire from the fender hehe. and yes u can lower and raise the car without doing an alignment only and i mean only if you are changing it under 1.5-2 inches. any more change and u will want to get an alignment. any height adjustment will change camber and toe but alittle change won't hurt too bad at all.

always get quality parts over a good deal on some crappy parts.
whether you want coilovers or springs (i think you should have read the suspension 101 thread), get something quality. ebay doesn't make coilovers, which proves the point of how crappy your coilovers are, as you don't even know the brand of the coilovers.
