Torn between Tein and Eibach

I just ordered my KYB AGX's for $304 shipped, and now idk what springs I want to go with. The Tein S-Tech Or the Eibach Sportlines? There is a slight price difference and lowering distance. The Eibach lowers about 1.8 in the front, and the Tein lowers about 2.1, was wondering does anyone on here have the S-Tech's or the Sportlines? and how do they compare to each other? At this point the $40 price difference doesn't really matter to me, I just want to get some springs that will help with handleing and with looks.

Well, either one will. The extra drop, if you want it, should depend partly on what your priorities are. If mostly street driving is in your future there's no sin in going a bit more conservative (i.e. Sportlines).

But also ask if Sportlines would allow you to not have to get a camber kit; if so there's a wad of cash saved as well. Don't know that answer, but others will chime in.

i have the tein s-techs and they are only good for looks. The drop is nice but it still drives like stock. I have no experience but i haven't heard to many good things about the sportlines. Go with a linear spring instead of a progressive if you're looking for a stiffer ride. Just my .02

I find that the Sportlines are more than a 1.8" drop when settled. My Neuspeed Sport are rated at 1.8/1.5 and the Sportline is significantly lower than me. I think a camber kit would be a good investment eventually, if you plan on going to wider wheels. But initially I think a good alignment will be fine.

I had sportlines for 2 years. Lets just say I'm not running them anymore. And I'm glad I'm not.

i cant compare to anything else but i had sportlines and i loved them the ride is very firm but i like it. and yes it is more than a 1.8 drop and if your gettign anything besides stock wheels ur still gonna need a camber kit. i had the kyb agx sportlines setupd and it def rocks man ull be happy with that

Won't happen. OEM or weak shocks + stiffer (lower) springs = bouncy shitty rice ride.

i'd go eibach IMHO. they have been in the game longer and produces a quality product. they perform very well too. no offense to tein since i know they have a reputation too but i'd have to lean towards what i've experienced firsthand. i had them with stock shocks and they rode nice. they were not bouncy but firm. mine settled to about 1.9" in the rear from my measurements. i wanted a stiffer and lower ride so i opted for my current setup; omnipower coilovers. all in all, my vote goes to eibach.

i would invest in a camber kit as well despite what springs you choose. good luck!

no experience with eibach but tein has been good to me...nice ride quality on their springs...

I've been thinking aqbout both spings also, the S-Techs and Sportlines.

chile, do you have a camber kit with the tiens?

Anyone who's had either of these springs, could you post which shocks, and if you have a camber kit on also? If possible, please say if you're satisfied with the ride or not.

didn't use a camber kit on mine...worked fine...had DZ shocks/struts, which were surprisingly pretty good. i wasn't sure about DZ at first but my wallet was okay with 'em and the ride quality was good. my buddy that has koni yellows and GC coilovers liked the set up for some light spirited driving...i think for everything, it was like $350 on egay....
