Hey guys, how is it going.

I am looking to install the above stated springs onto my cb9, and cannot see any mention of them on the forums. The car is a complete dd and I am not that concerned with performance so long as it is as good as oem.

These springs seem to fit my needs for comfort and lowering. My cb9 has cd5 front forks that are slightly longer, due to my cb9 fork threads getting destroyed.

I am wondering if anyone else has used them? I have no idea about bwr or there products as I am australian.

Again, not too concerned with performance. Let me know what you think, and if you have used it.

To give you a short answer, Blackworks Racing is a knock off brand with not-so-good reputation. They make cheap coilers,LCAs,Springs. They seem to cater to people who want to lower their cars for street cred or style rather than for better handling and improved suspension performance. I doubt they have R&D into our chassis. You're probably safe buying them, but I would go with a more known spring/strut combo. I know there are multiple combos on the forums and in the suspension sticky threads.

I've looked into those combo's, and I'd love to run koni yellow and neuspeed race but I can't get them to / in Australia, my options are bwr or even lower quality again.

Would you recommend the koni srt.t over kyb? As I can actually get those in australia, and looks like the springs might be okay too.

I'm worried they aren't low enough.

I would recommend the strs over the kyb's, having rode on both they similiar in initial ride quality but the strts should hold up longer due to them being valved to handle up to a 2" drop. The kyb are simply over valved to handle worn bushings. When i took the kyb's off my wagon the rears were blown.

Yeah, I think the koni's are better quality, and it looks like the setup you posted is going to cost about $8 more total than kyb's and bwr springs, so I think I'm sold on doing it your way haha.

The badge is in the mail. anxiously awaiting it's arrival.
The next thing you should look into is the master poly bushing kit from (after shocks and springs)prothane.

This will give you the response you want going around the corners.

I've already rebuilt my front suspension with the energy suspension kit, I believe that's in my build thread. Let me check.

Cool, yeah your ride thread says rebuilt front end.
So you could just piece the rear kit together.
Side note: The rear upper control arms from the early model Acura TL are cast instead of stamped steel, if you want to tighten up the rear a little more.

Unfortunately no such thing as Acura Anywhere else in the world, including aus haha.

Yeah i might get around to doing the rear eventually, but im not super concerned with handling, its a DD so comfort is the most important part. my DC2 is what i use for handling, haha.
