    Stock Ride Height

I am looking for the distance from top of fender to the center of the wheel front and rear. My suspension is just a bit FUBAR on all 4 and I have no way of finding a base mark to calculate how much I want to get my car lowered.

I did try searching but the word "stock" appeared a lot.

Its going to be hard to judge what is factory height. Your best bet is to use peoples descriptions on how much of a finger gap they have for their aftermarket setup.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

I just measured my 90 LX and 93 EX sedans, both essentially on standard springs. Vertical distance from the top edge of the wheel opening to the center of the wheel is about 15.5 inches in front and 15.0 inches in the rear.

Another check is overall height of the vehicle. The OEM manual lists 54.7 inches for sedan, 54.1 inches for coupe, and 55.1 inches for wagon. Unfortunately, the sketches don't make it clear where along the roof should be the highest point.

Thanks that should help, I know my current tires are slightly taller. So I measured mine and there is about 1" difference from driver to passenger, at least taxes are coming and this issue will be fixed.

The size of the tire shouldn't matter for the measurement from the wheel housing to the center of the wheel; it will make a difference for the overall height of the car. If you are still on the original springs, check to see if the bottom coil is broken. I think every CB7 I've owned has had broken front springs.

When I was looking at the coil they all looked intact, not good but intact so my assumption is age. I think these have been in for the life of the car.
