    full knuckle swap

ive been searching but im not finding anything I felt to be conclusive.

Ill keep it simple. to upgrade to the wagon's front brakes, can i just swap the whole knuckle assembly with rotor, pads, caliper and all? im fine with hub over rotor.

that being said any wagon from 91-97 will do?

It should, did you try cross-referencing part numbers?

yes. theyre different. im pretty sure too, but everyone posts about taking the rotor from them instead of the complete knuckle.....which to me would be easier. im just trying to figure out why.

You don't need the knuckle for the brakes. The brakes swap right over.

There is a brake setup thread on here somewhere.

My brake setup is a TL caliper with a 23mm vigor rotor and some hawk pads. This is basically the wagon setup but the rotors are only 23mm thick not 28.

I couldn't find any wagons. To get the parts from so I had to research a little. The brackets will have 23, 25, 28 stamped on them. Calipers are 1755vn or something they are on preludes, wagons, tl and maybe a few more.

If you already have the wagon stuff great. If not maybe this will help a little

appreciate it man. ive torn this site apart and read everything. Plus im already hunting parts for a poor mans r, crx, cb7 and h23. im no where near wanting to piece together a brake set up too.

i can find cb wagons easily here in central fl. The fucking no job scavengers strip anything decent as soon as it hits the salvage yard, so theres no chance anything good will be there long enough to complete the puzzle. THEN they turn around and sell the shit over priced on CL and ebay. Im not hating, its just fucking aggravating. AND since i drive semis and am gone all week, i have saturday and some of friday if i get home in time to pull buy parts.

rant aside lol, i saw a wagon and want to get the facts and make sure shit bolts up before little ol me pulls the front heavy ass knuckles by myself in the dirt in some tetanus jungle

Yes, the knuckles from a wagon will swap over. Look for previous posts of mine that explain which cars certain parts come from. I don't mean to suggest you pick few things from many different cars, but you may find that you want the thinner rotors of the Vigor or 2.5TL instead of the wagon. In either instance, you can get the entire knuckle assemblies from those as well.

The answer to the question about the different part numbers is because of the larger wheel bearing in the knuckle on the Accord wagon and '95-'97 V6. All of the other cars in which we get larger brakes from have this larger wheel bearing as well. If you're getting the whole knuckle you don't need to worry about cross-comparability.

this is what got me questioning. the listing im guessing is inaccurate. PLUS Brembo's site application selector isnt working to check the partnumbers.

                      That list is not correct.
