has anybody changed the springs on these coilovers to make them stiffer??

Trust me, they're plenty stiff as it is. I seriously considered swapping mine out in front for some softer AFCO springs just to make them bearable. Instead, I traded for Tein Super Streets.
But to answer your question, I don't know if anyone has with this brand. However it's common practice with coilovers. The thing you need to keep in mind when going stiffer on non-adjustable shocks is that the valving is not designed for increased spring rate. I'm sure you know what problems this creates. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

When you put stiffer or lower springs on factory springs you will blow them prematurely. The shocks are not designed to handle the additional stresses. If you have aftermarket shocks designed for a specific spring rate and put different springs on them that are even stiffer than the shocks are designed for then you'll have the same effect. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. This is what always happens....Somebody thinks they are the exception to the rule of physics.
You WILL blow them, the fact that it may take longer makes no difference. I hope in that longer duration, you're saving up for some replacement shocks, or are just prepared for a crappy ride.'94 JDM H22A: 178whp 146wtq

Out the box the spring rates are 10k Front / 6k Rear. If you would have type 2's you wouldnt be complaining about stiffness =D. type 1's arent for slamming, and some type 2 guys actuallly will even trade you for your type 1's because they want more comfort. full stiff is pretty harsh if your tucking tire. you want a softer rear if you DD. you also want stiff struts and soft springs if you DD ( or at least thats my preference for comfort because it makes sense and works =P ).
I DD tucking tire on type 2's around half stiff ( slightly stiff bias )

oh ok..well i understand that i will blow my shocks eventually..oh well
i probably better off with another setup that has adjustable damping.
in the mean time ill put some stiffer springs
like iv said before,i hardly drive it, i have not even put enough miles on my car this year to do a oil change lol i gonna change it though to have fresh oil in there but this car is like my weekend car only. at the most i drive it like 10 miles lol
